The Diocese of Limerick has invited the National Board for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church in Ireland to conduct a review of Safeguarding practice and it is taking place all this week.
This morning the auditors attended the Safeguarding Committee Meeting to see how the Limerick Diocese are putting their Safeguarding Procedures and Action Plan into practice.
The Auditors will be visiting parishes and looking at youth activities over the next few days as part of the overall Audit.
